Wrath of the Lich King Level Cap Reached In 27 Hours

level80worldfirst.jpg

World of Warcraft player Nymh has claimed a title that would make any WoW gamer envious: he has reached level 80, the game's new maximum level. How did he do it? His strategy is simple: grinding.

Using a specific strategy and set list of grinding locations researched in the beta, Nymh and a few of his compatriots managed to climb the game's new levels with relative ease. "I spent some time on beta servers and eventually found the crypt in Drakil'ji Ruins (Grizzly Hills), I think that's one of the only places in Wrath of the Lich King where monsters repop in about 30 seconds, mobs here are also neutral and it makes grinding a little safer," he told MMO Champion.

WoW is loaded with quests to make leveling easier, but I guess the old approach still works. Hardcore grinding is certainly not the most convenient way to get your levels in, but as long as it works, people will still go for it. Now I'm beginning to wonder if people will camp his grinding spot for experience now. He go to level 80 in 27 hours with it. That's very impressive.
