The Future of World of Warcraft

wow-logo.jpgRecently, WoW's Lead Producer, Shane Dabiri posted details on Blizzard's plans for their popular massively multiplayer online roleplaying game.

Things like paid character transfers, which will allow players to transfer their characters from one realm to another is scheduled to go live this summer.

Account to account transfers are also coming down the pipe. Account to account transfers are important as most people get into WoW by using their friends account for a while to see if they would be interested in the game. Once they are hooked, they usually want to play with their friends, but currently have to start over from scratch. Account to account transfers would allow the person to move their new character to another account and continue on without restarting.

Many of the new additions that will really change how you can play the game with your friends will be coming down the pipe before the Burning Crusade expansion is released, which is expected late this year. Hopefully, much more on the future of World of Warcraft will be mentioned at E3.

The only thing I can see wrong with account to account transfers is now people are going to be able to sell there characters online more easily.

What is this world coming to?
