Search Your Feelings: You Know You Want It In Your Wii

What's cooler than using the Wii-mote to simulate swinging a tennis racket, shooting a gun and wearing boxing gloves? How about wielding a lightsaber? Game|Life reports:

At the Hollywood & Games Summit, Newsweek's N'Gai Croal asked LucasArts' Jim Ward the question we've all wanted the answer to: "What would it take to make a lightsaber game for the Wii?" The answer? They're already working on it. Booyah!

Apparently, the company already has a few prototypes running that use the Wiimote and they're "a lot of fun." (Well, duh, Jim, we know that, why do you think we want it so badly?)

According to Ward, there will also be "some stuff out this Fall," though whether it's a Wiisaber-enabled version of Lego Star Wars, or a completely separate title is unclear.

I like Lego Star Wars, but I'm hoping for something more like the Jedi Knight series where I used to Force push, pull and choke my enemies to oblivion. An ideal setup? A Wii-mote on the right for my lightsaber and a nunchuk on the left for my Force powers. I'm already salivating at the thought of it.
