Save the City In Emergency Mayhem

You might know Codemasters from the Overlord game that came out earlier this year. You might recognize the style of the game above from the wild antics you enjoyed in Crazy Taxi. Well, the two teams seem to have partnered up on this latest effort, titled Emergency Mayhem.

The Wii-exclusive title, which was originally supposed to appear on the original Xbox a few years back, takes place in a town called Crisis City. I guess the idea is that there are many bad things going on in this town and it's up to you to rectify them all. The driving stages are naturally reminiscent of Crazy Taxi, because they've got the same team of developers. The rest of the stages look like mini-games... much like so many other Wii-exclusive offerings.

I just hope that Emergency Mayhem is a budget title, because I can't imagine anyone paying full price for the dated graphics, dated concept, and dated gameplay.
