SCIV: Yoda and Vader Cross Over

vaderyoda-sciv.jpg

So much for exclusive characters. When Soul Calibur III was released a few years ago, each of the consoles gained access to a single exclusive character. PlayStation guys got Heihachi, GameCubers got Link, and Xbox fanatics battled with Spawn. For Soul Calibur IV, Namco took a similar approach, bring Darth Vader to the PS3 and Yoda to the Xbox 360. That exclusivity has now broken down.

Set to be released in the form of DLC next week, Darth Vader and Yoda will be made available on the consoles where they are not currently found. This means that Vader heads to the 360 and Yoda jumps over to the PS3. You will soon be able to participate in some truly epic lightsaber battles without having to rely on the apprentice from The Force Unleashed.

Yoda on the PS3 will cost $4.99 whereas Vader on the Xbox 360 goes for 400 points. Both are set to launch on October 23.
