Rockstar Table Tennis Wii - Gameplay Video

I remember when Rockstar Games first released Table Tennis for the Xbox 360, people scoffed at the concept. What kind of follow-up to Grand Theft Auto was a game of ping pong? And then people played it. And then people loved it. The graphics were amazing, the controls ultra-tight, and the grimaces on the players about as realistic as it got. It was truly amazing what Rockstar did, because Table Tennis was easily one of the most intense games of the year.

Well, as you may have already heard, Rockstar is bringing Table Tennis to Wii, complete with motion-sensitive controls. If you thought Wii Sports: Tennis was a blast, wait until you can actually control the movement of your players in addition to the timing of their swings. From what I hear, the four directions on the Wii-mote's D-pad dictate which type of shot you make. Sounds pretty great to me, and based on the gameplay video above, it looks pretty great too.
