Review: OneChanbara: Bikini Samurai Squad

Dead or Alive Xtreme Beach Volleyball is among the top guilty pleasure games out there. It's a prime example of the questionable genre, but it's there to appeal to male gamers everywhere. Following its footsteps is OneChanbara: Bikini Samurai Squad, a hack-and-slash action game that pits underdressed heroines against hordes of zombies. Is it any good? Here's a video review:

So if you're into repetitive gameplay with boatloads of gore, then this game is for you. There's plenty of things to see in terms of blood and babes, but that's about it. It doesn't violate the expectations set by previous games or even certain movies, following the winning formula of sex and violence. Of course, some people have mastered its balance, knowing how to deliver it without leaving a bad taste in your mouth. With OneChanbara, it's probably going to boil down to a matter of preference.
