Review: Fallout 3

Fallout 3. It's out, but is it worth it?

Despite the fact that this is my first experience with a Fallout game, I was completely enthralled with story and game play, the plot of which I have been careful to barely mention at all. That said, I do not know if it is an experience that will satiate the cultish Fallout fans' appetite.

So there you have it, from the perspective of a player with no previous Fallout history. Now, it would be a disservice to some of you if I didn't provide a review from someone who has played the first few titles, so here's one. Don't worry, the praise remains, but if you want the fine details about what's different, you'll find it there.

Here's a heads-up: one thing that's consistent is that using the turn-based combat system is better than the real-time one.
