Resident Evil 4 Going To The Wii

Resident Evil 4 is coming to the Wii. And no, it's not an April Fool's joke.

An intrepid NeoGAF member translated the info from the most recent issue of the Japanese magazine. The new version (presumably the unannounced game that Capcom hinted at last month) uses the Wiimote for aiming, naturally, but also uses it for stabbing zombies, as God intended. There's no word yet on whether or not it will reach North America, but a listing for the game briefly appeared on Gamestop's site, and the thing's already been localized once, so it would seem like a lock.

I'm wondering about two things: the implementation of the control scheme and the extras. I'm interested in finding out how the Wii-mote and the nunchuk will fare under the stress of shooting hordes of infested humans. Regarding extras, when RE4 went to the PS2 from the Gamecube, extra content was added (like Separate Ways). Will the Wii version add more? It should, something that's suitable to Nintendo's next-gen console. It'll definitely add more value, if they implement it well.
