Previews: Mortal Kombat VS DC Universe

X-Men VS Street Fighter is the game that started the Marvel and Capcom crossover series that eventually led to Marvel VS Capcom 2. Having established itself as a juggernaut in the 2D fighter genre thanks to the Street Fighter series, Capcom used its expertise to create something out of a "What If...?" comic: X-Men: Children of the Atom, a fighting game that featured the famous mutants duking it out using Street Fighter's control scheme. This eventually led to Marvel Super Heroes, the previously-mentioned X-Men VS Street Fighter and so on.

In the midst of it all, everyone forgot about DC comics. Everyone but Midway, that is.

The game developer is going to create a crossover title, weaving Mortal Kombat and the DC universe together. The trailer above only showcases a fight between Sub-Zero and Batman. You can check out more news via the source link, but to get the obvious question out of the way, the game will not be carrying an M rating. Does that mean no fatalities? Maybe.
