Okami On The Wii

The Wii version of Okami was released recently and it begs the question: how are the controls? With an emphasis on drawing things onscreen, it's easy to see how Okami's gameplay would fit perfectly with the Wii-mote. There's still a lot of platforming and traveling to be done within the game though, so it's not going be as simple as waving the controller around. Also, the game's combat system is a mix of button presses and drawing. So how do those elements translate in the Wii version?

While it's too bad that we can't see the actual gestures made with the controls, Okami veterans will recognize the creation of the bomb during combat. Sure, it's only a circle with a line, but that's already complex compared to the other drawings that you can do in the game. With that said, it looks like there's going to be renewed interest in Okami thanks to the Wii version.
