Nintendo Dipping into Microtransactions

How would you feel if someone came to you every day and asked you for a dollar? Well that is how I feel about microtransactions, especially since much of what has been done on the Xbox 360 side is users finding themselves paying through the nose for content that should have been free.

Nintendo of America President Reggie Fils-Aime has reported that the Nintendo Wii will also be ready to enter the microtransaction realm.

"If you've gotten to a particular part in a game, we could push content out to you, so you get to battle a new boss. Maybe you get a new artifact; maybe you get a new weapon," Fils-Aime said.

I am not excited about this whole microcontent thing, despite what the big three console makers and the game publishers think.
