New WoW Patch To Bridge WotLK Content

world_of_warcraft_wrath_of_the_lich_king_logo.jpg

I have a confession to make: I'm not a big fan of previews. Don't get me wrong. I'm not faking the enthusiasm or excitement that I try to convey whenever I post a new videogame trailer. I wouldn't be posting it in the first place if I wasn't looking forward to it. What I mean is that once I see the trailer, I try to avoid reading too much about it. Things like impressions and such don't really grab my attention as much as they did before, so even though the beta for Wrath of the Lich King is in full swing, I avoid news about it like the plague.

It looks like Blizzard is going to implement a few Wrath-related changes to WoW sometime soon, regardless of whether you're getting a copy of the next expansion or not. These changes are going to prepare players for the upcoming content, addressing new issues with the gameplay and the lore.

With the release of Wrath of the Lich King approaching, we wanted to provide you with some important information. In preparation for the expansion, we will be issuing a new content patch in the coming weeks. Much like the patch made available shortly before The Burning Crusade's release, this content patch is designed to bridge current game content with that of the expansion and will contain some exciting changes and additions.
