Leipzig: Mario and Sonic at the Olympics = Best Wii Game

Can this really be the case? At the Leipzig Games Convention which was held over the weekend, they went around and handed out a series of "best of" awards. There are some great games coming up for the Nintendo Wii and everyone was fully expecting that Super Mario Galaxy would easily walk home with the Best Wii Game title. In a stunning upset, this was not the case.

Instead, Mario and Sonic at the Olympics took home that prize. Yes, another mini-game collection for the Wii and yes, it turns out to be the best Wii game on display at Leipzig. In related news, the Wii Balance Board (the thing that goes with Wii Fit) received Best Hardware Accessory. My, oh my.

Here's a highlight list of Leipzig Awards:
