Lego Goes Online, S.T.A.L.K.E.R. Goes Gold & Still No Wiis

The developers of Auto Assault are working on a new MMOG for Lego. Yes, that Lego, the guys behind the funky building blocks. There are no further details other than that announcement so we'll all have to wait for what will happen next.

Anyone up for a Hello Kitty MMOG?

S.T.A.L.K.E.R. is finally complete. It was initially announced in 2001 for a 2003 release. Obviously, that never happened. Six years and a name-change later, the game finally went gold.

Better clean out your computer because this monster needs 10gb of hard drive space to install. That, and the wait, had better be worth it.

Speaking of of waiting, did you get your Wii yet? If not, prepare to wait longer. According to Nintendo of America president Reggie Fils-Aime:

Nintendo manufactured, through the end of December, four million units worldwide. And to put this in perspective, the ramp up you need to have from a manufacturing standpoint to make four million units, and to make them flawlessly -- our defect rate is miniscule -- that's a huge challenge. Yet, because of the demand, because of the buzz, we could not satisfy consumers worldwide.
We work with our retailers to supply them on a regular and ongoing basis. Some retailers make decisions to hold product to support their circulars that typically drop on Sundays. But I'm now looking at a report that says in 93 percent of retail outlets, there are less than three hardware units available. That is a huge issue and something we're working very hard to fix.

I think there's a PS3 available nearby, but that's not what you want, is it?
