Kellogg's Cereal Gives Free Ad Time to Wii?

It's clear. The Nintendo Wii has gone about as mainstream as it possibly can. It has infiltrated just about every aspect of pop culture, getting featured on morning talk shows and even television commercials for cereal. While ads of old catered to the hardcore fanboy, Nintendo is taking a different approach with the Wii, trying to get everyone to play.

I'm not exactly sure what sort of arrangement was struck between the two companies, but it seems like Shiggy and crew got themselves some free exposure in a recent Kellogg's Smart Start TV commercial. In it, a series of soccer moms talk about how they want to strengthen their hearts. They try to dance and eat right, and it seems like another element to a strong heart is none other than Wii Sports.

Interestingly, there is no mention of broken wrist straps and smashed TVs. Go figure.
