Guitar Hero: Jimi Hendrix

ghjimi.jpg

You may have heard the news from Neversoft and Activision that they would be producing way more Guitar Hero games in the coming years, doubling production in 2009 and tripling production by 2010. We're not talking about volume here, but actual new games being released in a much more frequent fashion. More likely than not, the new games wouldn't all be drastic changes like World Tour, but rather expansions like Aerosmith.

We already know about the upcoming releases of Guitar Hero: Metallica, for instance, but Slash of Guns N Roses had an interview with Rolling Stone Magazine where he leaked out a very juicy tidbit. We're not sure how official this is, but the lead guitarist said that Neversoft and Activision are working on a Jimi Hendrix edition of the game, "which is great."

I don't know about you, but I think Jimi is great. The game would sell like hotcakes... but I think I'd get the Metallica edition first.
