First Look at Man Icarus, I Mean Kid Icarus

You may have heard that Nintendo wants to revitalize one of its old franchises. They've already done by introducing new versions of the Metroid series, but when Pit made his triumphant return to our living rooms via Super Smash Bros Brawl, we were left wondering if this was hinting at a new Kid Icarus game. The concept has more or less been confirmed and it seems that Factor 5 is going to be the primary developer.

What you see above is one of the early sketches of what Pit will look like in the new Kid Icarus game. I don't know about you, but he seems far too old and brooding to be appropriate to the series. It is called Kid Icarus and not Man Icarus, after all. They say that in this game, Pit is "cursed for thousands of years and becomes a fallen angel."

I don't know. It sounds too dark for the spirit of Kid Icarus.

i seriously dont like this new pit... i much prefer the version on the brawl.... this character is way to adult to be pit the other pit looks more young fun and energetic i like it more (feel like theyr ruining one of my most favorite characters....
