European Invasion of Guitar Hero World Tour

ghwteur.jpg

Are you getting tired of only signing in English? I know that was part of the reason why I decided to buy Hier Kommt Alex by Die Toten Hosen in the first Rock Band game, despite having already playing the guitar parts in Guitar Hero III. I wanted to see if I could sing in German, despite not understanding a single word of it. That was an exercise in futility, of course, but it was an enjoyable exercise in futility.

If you're feeling the urge to go non-English again, Activision has got a few Guitar Hero World Tour treats for you coming this week. From what I can gather, these downloadable tracks (DLC) will be made available through all three of the current generation consoles, including the Wii, the PS3, and the Xbox 360. They'll cost 200 Wii Points, 160 MS Points, or $1.99, depending on which machine you've got.

The three Euro-centric GHWT DLC tracks for this week are:
"Degenerated" - Backyard Babies (Sweden)
"Por La Boca Vive El Pez" - Fito Y Fitipaldis (Spain)
"Johnny" - Di-Rect (Netherlands)

I guess I should brush up on my Swedish. I just have to find my IKEA catalogue.
