DS Game Promotes Animal Abuse?

In Animal Crossing: Wild World, you were able to interact with your animal neighbours in all sorts of different ways, running errands, catching fish, and selling your wares to Tom Nook. If you were a little more evil, it was also possible to use your bug catching net to whack them over the head until they stormed off in anger. That was an Easter Egg. With Animal Boxing, the abuse is a little more obvious.

Instead of gathering furniture and having whimsical conversations, Animal Boxing by Gammick Entertainment of Spain pits your character in a series of brutal battles against your furry brethren. Beat the tar out of everything from penguins to foxes to rise in the ranks and be crowned the pugilist champion. I guess picking on a kitty is easier than trying to beat Mike Tyson.

Animal Boxing will be available in Q4 2008.
