Alison Carroll Announced As New Lara Croft Model

Whenever there's a new Tomb Raider title in the works, a new Lara Croft model is expected to follow. Underworld is no different. Meet Alison Carroll, and if you actually read her biography instead of just looking at her, you'll learn that she's more than just a pretty face.

The 23-year-old is a BGA accredited Club Coach in Tumbling, Sports Acrobatics, and General Gymnastics. She has a long association with the Bromley Valley Gymnastics Club, and the Shirley Gymnastics Club, bringing home first place trophies in regional and national competitions.

While I certainly understand the logic behind the marketing strategy, I'm beginning to wonder if the models actually help promote the game. Do you remember the last girl, the one that Eidos used for Legend? No? Neither do I. Don't you wish they made a more lasting impression?
