Akuma in Street Fighter IV

Sure, M. Bison may be pretty impressive with that whole Psycho Drive business, but there is one boss character in the Street Fighter universe that trumps them all. Possibly one of the most legendary characters to emerge from the fighting game franchise is Akuma, an over-the-top version of Ken and Ryu that comes with a few extra powers of his own. Oh, and he's known as Gouki in Japan.

Well, everyone's favorite demon fireball and uppercut guru has found his way over to Street Fighter IV. The video clip above shows Akuma in action, being challenged by newcomer Abel of France. I don't know about you, but Akuma doesn't seem nearly as impressive in this game as he has in previous showings. His hadoukens aren't quite as fierce as they once were and his movement seems slowed compared to the Akuma of old.

Clearly, he does not "suffer" from SNK boss syndrome.
