Adding Controller Support To World Of Warcraft

switchblade_logo.jpg

World of Warcraft is one of those titles that will challenge your keyboard. It's easy to be overwhelmed by the sheer number of skills, talents and professions that you can map to your keyboard. Thankfully, the game has a built-in macro system that allows you to execute multiple commands with a single button. But when you're using only one hand to cover 104 keys, it can still prove to be a daunting task. After all, if your movement keys are on one side and your Polymorph button is on the other, you'll be sacrificing mobility just to cast that spell.

If you've got an Xbox 360, then Switchblade offers a solution. It's a little of the wall, but hey, it works.

Switchblade™ is an easy to use application that brings a fully configured game controller interface to any PC game. Once SwitchBlade is installed, it provides a console gaming experience for the gamer looking for a new way to play popular PC games. The first game supported by SwitchBlade is World of Warcraft – preconfigured key bindings map the Xbox 360 controller buttons to the most commonly used World of Warcraft controls.
