Activision's Take on Wii Sports

actisport.jpg

As if the Nintendo Wii was not already home to tons of mini-game compilations, it seems that Activision wants a big piece of this casual sports game pie as well. It started with the pack-in Wii Sports and continued with titles like Hudson's Deca Sports. Now, Activision is jumping into the fray with Big League Sports.

You've probably heard this before. There's a bunch of sports-themed mini-games and they're meant to be fun for the whole family. Activision says that Big League Sports emphasizes "a singular focus on putting players in the most thrilling situations while competing in their favorite sports." Those sports games from 2K and EA got your head spinning? Big League will make it easier for you.

Among the 22 events represented in this game are tennis, American football, soccer, hockey, and lacrosse. Look for it this holiday season.
